Yannika the Violinist who Believes in You
“Yanit’s playing is the performance of a seance, the stirring of Jascha Heifetz’s soul.
Having studied under the late master and now,
guiding this young virtuoso, I find myself reduced to a mere intermediary of one rare and eternal soul.” - Erick Friedman

Yanit’s musical lineage finds its roots in the teachings of the great Russian master, Jascha Heifetz. At a very young age her musical talent was recognized by Dorothy Delay at Juilliard who invited her to study and perform at the Aspen Music Festival. She went on to study with Ruggiero Ricci, and Jean Fournier at the Mozarteum in Salzburg where she received a full scholarship. Professor Fournier invited Yanit to study at the Paris Conservatory of Music. Yanit also received full scholarship at the Royal College of Music in London. She continued her studies under the tutelage of Joseph Gingold at Bloomington. Her culminating prowess came under the masterful teaching of Erick Friedman, Jascha Heifetz’s protege, at Yale. Yanit embodies both the technique and soul of the great Russian Master.
