Nigerian, Lagos based Artiste real name Dada Eyitayo formally known as RILLA, a young musician wrapped in mystery, found his deep bond with music in the most unexpected places. Studying Mass communication at the University of Lagos he was known for his unique freestyles and song pattern. He never realized he had an interest in music despite living in the same apartment as a producer and being exposed to a lot of reggae music by his father while growing up. It wasn't until he discovered he could write song lyrics in an examination hall that he realized his passion for music. RILLA infused Afro-Bashment and Afrobeat into Punk & R&B developing a Sub-genre under Afrobeat. Some of his songs include "BUMBUM” “Paganini," "With You," and "LOKAL." He is quickly gaining popularity in the industry, and his latest hit "LAGOS STYLE " proves that he is here to stay. Despite facing criticism and self-doubt, his mysterious spirit shone as a symbol of resilience, reflected in the layers of depth and genuineness in his compositions.
