Keisha Findley

Dr. Keisha Findley is a Maryland native. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Duke University in 2010. Dr. Findley completed a five-year postdoctoral fellowship at the National Human Genome Research Institute. Her past research focused on characterizing the fungal microbiome that is innate to healthy human skin. In November 2015, Dr. Findley joined the Food and Drug Administration as a scientific reviewer/microbiologist. She has expertise in the areas of infection control for medical devices, over-the-counter dental products, and consumer and health care antiseptic drug products. In August 2022, Dr. Findley made a career transition. She is currently working as a medical writer in the private sector supporting oncology drug products.
