💚Discussion with Day Day. Day Day is a music producer who was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia. His first passion was football and after graduating high school he signed to a Division One football program at Georgia State University. After a few setbacks in college, he attended The Apprentice School which is a trade school in Newport News, Virginia where he learned about crane and ship rigging. After spending two and a half years there, DayDay realized he didn’t want to do that for the rest of his life. He moved back to Brunswick and reunited with a childhood friend in Atlanta named Southside Youngin. Southside Youngin introduced him to 30roc who is a Grammy winning producer known for songs including The Box by Roddy Rich, Off the Grid by Kanye West, and Barti Cardi by Cardi B. 30roc encouraged DayDay to try music production and he ended being so great at it that 30roc signed him to a music deal. DayDay has worked with TootieRaww, Boosie, Rich Homie Quan, Capolow, Trina, Yung Sinn, 350heem, and many other music artists.
